You guys sound expensive. Are you?
That depends. At Audio Connection, our focus is on performance and always has
been... not only selling great equipment but setting it up to get the most out of
it. To be sure, high end does not necessarily mean high price. For example, we
have a high performance CD player at $699. We also have what many consider
to be the best CD player in the world for $10,000 (ask us about it sometime!).
While we choose what we sell on the basis of performance, reliability and a
number of other factors it is our goal to help you find what is best for you.
Can a home theater system play music too?
Yes. The better question, though, is how well it will play the music. A common
misconception is that you have to have "home theater" speakers in order to have
a home theater. Many times, while home theater speakers work well for movies,
their music reproduction is substandard. That is not to say you can't have both.
All of the systems we assemble at Audio Connection are music first systems
because it is more difficult to reproduce music properly than movie sound. One
reason is movie sound tracks are compressed. Another good reason is what you
can reference the sound too: more people have heard what a piano sounds like
live than, say, a Dinosour or battle in outer space.
The same principles apply to music and movie sound (good resolution, dynamics,
efficiency, etc.), so if you choose your system based on its music performance,
its movie performance will follow suit.
Why do you carry equipment I've never heard of?
Like other industries, the specialty products of ours are not widely known. We
choose the best equipment in each category based on its performance and value.
Many of our manufacturers have been in business for decades and, like us, cater
to those who are looking for something better. You are more than likely to
experience something here you've never seen or heard before
You may not have heard of some of our products but rest assured whatever you
purchase from Audio Connection will be the best you can get at any price.

make the best decisions about your system. Our staff is trained to do proper
demonstrations and ask the right questions to identify your needs.
The store is segmented into several rooms to better approximate your home
environment. We don't use any speaker switching boxes, demonstrate a wall of
speakers, or use any other device or technique that would degrade performance.
Each system is set up as carefully as it would be in your home... that way you
can experience the best results in an efficient and useful way. Simply put, we're
here to make your choice easier and more enjoyable.
