Michi Q5 Transport DAC

At the heart of the Q5 lies a premium ESS ES9028PRO DAC, renowned for its high-fidelity audio conversion. This 8-channel DAC performs the critical digital to analog conversion dedicating 4 channels each to the left and right audio signal paths. The 4 times signal processing redundancy of the ESS Sabre DAC extracts further details of the audio buried deep within the recording presented on an expansive sound stage. The fully balanced, fully differential circuit design renders precision with an extremely low noise floor to the XLR and RCA analog outputs for pristine sound reproduction with minimal distortion. CD audio is also available via Coaxial and Optical Toslink connectors allowing the Q5 to function as a dedicated CD Transport.
